Field / On-Site Industrial Painting
Cowboy Painting Co. provides industrial painting and coating services at your facility or job site, eliminating the need to transport large equipment. Our team handles complex, heavy, or immovable assets with precision, delivering durable, inspection-ready coatings that extend asset life and protect against corrosion.
Why Choose Field Painting
On-site painting is ideal when:

-
Equipment or structures are too large or heavy to transport
-
Minimal downtime is critical to keep operations running
-
Environmental or logistical constraints prevent facility-based painting
-
Projects require multi-stage coatings or specialized finishes
By performing painting at your location, we reduce downtime, avoid costly transportation, and maintain high-quality standards.
Types of On-Site Projects
-
Industrial machinery and plant equipment
-
Structural steel frameworks and support beams
-
Conduit, piping, and process lines
-
Metal buildings, roofing, and siding
-
Exterior steel tanks and storage vessels
-
Flooring systems (epoxy, polyurethane, anti-slip)
-
Marine structures: docks, piers, ship components
-
Large manufacturing or processing facility structures
-
Agricultural equipment and storage structures
-
Commercial facility exteriors and metal elements
-
Food & beverage processing equipment and piping
-
Construction-related steel and metal structures
-
Industrial production lines and conveyors
-
Fireproofing and intumescent coatings on-site
-
Specialty metal coatings (zinc, aluminum, metallic fillers)
Benefits of On-Site Industrial Painting
-
Reduces downtime of critical assets
-
Eliminates transportation risks and costs
-
Maintains continuity of operations during painting projects
-
Ensures high-quality coating performance in real-world conditions
Industrial Painting & Coatings Projects
Our project gallery highlights before-and-after industrial painting and coating work, showcasing surface preparation, coating application, and finished performance across aerospace, marine, military, and industrial projects.
Ammonia Condenser Painting- Delaware
Cowboy Painting Co. restored an ammonia condenser structure in Delaware, including rusted steel frames, ammonia lines, railings, and a caged ladder. The project involved needle scaling, grinding, laser surface cleaning, priming, and at facility-based painting, applying the appropriate OSHA color coding to pipes to protect the asset and ensure inspection-ready compliance. This process restored the structure’s durability, extended its service life, and provided a professional, long-lasting finish.

Structure Steel Painting — Pennsylvania
Cowboy Painting Co. performed on-site surface preparation and painting of a steel structure in Pennsylvania, including beams and building components. The team prepped the surfaces, applied primer, and coated with industrial-grade paint, providing long-term corrosion protection and a professional finish. Performing this work in the field allowed the project to stay on schedule without relocating heavy equipment or dismantling structural components, delivering durable results under real-world conditions.

15,000 Sq Ft Fire Station Epoxy Floor Coating — Delaware
Cowboy Painting Co. completed a 15,000-square-foot epoxy floor coating project at an active fire station in Delaware, where the existing floor had become a slipping hazard. To keep the department fully operational, the project was phased in sections with a temporary wall, allowing emergency equipment to remain in service throughout the work. Our team removed baseboards, diamond-ground the concrete, repaired cracks and surface damage, and applied a four-stage epoxy coating system with a fully broadcasted, non-slip topcoat. The project also included up to four custom color layouts for safety markings, fire truck parking areas, and designated walking zones, resulting in a durable, safe, and highly functional floor built for emergency response environments.

Food & Beverage Facility Painting
Inside this ammonia condenser, inches of rust, dirt, and leaks threatened both the equipment and the supporting steel structure 45 feet above the ground. Cowboy Painting Co. drained the condenser, removed all rust and debris, repaired holes, and applied marine-grade coatings to protect the interior from corrosion and water damage. This facility-based restoration ensured the condenser was safe, fully functional, and long-lasting, extending the service life of this critical industrial asset
